Event Information

Lake Macquarie foreshore, The Esplanade Warners Bay.

Road closures will commence at 6.00am on the day of the event and reopen at 11.00am. Detours will be in place between Kings Road Warners Bay and Creek Reserve Road Speers Point.

It is recommended athletes park their cars behind The Esplande Shops in the carpark off John Street.

7.15am – Half Marathon

7.30am – 10.5km Fun Run

9.00am – 4km Family Scamper

Early Bird Entry is open until midnight 31 July. No race shirts will be available for Late Registrations but shirts may be purchased on the day at the Registration Tent.

Race packs will need to be collected and will not be mailed out.

Race Pack pick up and late registrations will be available the weekend of the event:

12pm – 4pm on Saturday & 6am – 7am on Sunday at the Esplanade, Warners Bay.

Free Early Bird Race Shirts can be collected at Race Pack collection dates or on race day. Please be sure to bring your smartphone to registration so you are able to complete the self-service rego check-in!

Late Registration is available online until 30 minutes prior to race events.

Payment can be made by Cash or Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard).

Please email all requests to enquiries@lakemacrunning.com . Cancellations received before 11 August 2024 will receive a refund on your entry fee (minus a $10.00 processing fee).  There will be no refunds after 11 August 2024.

We are unable to refund the booking fees made by our payment merchant.

New Multisport Australia timing chips will be utilised for all events and are INSIDE THE RACE BIBS supplied within your Race Pack, the bibs should be attached to your shirt. As timing chips are contained within the race bibs this year and do not need to be returned.

Baggage Claim Area is provided and supervised during the race. Possessions will be bagged and require your race number and verification of your race bib for collection.

Presentation will be held on site starting after conclusion of the event at approximately 10.00am. Trophies will be awarded to the overall first three place getters and medallions awarded to the first place getters in specified age categories will be available for collection. Note: Family Scamper category age winners up to 15years of age only.

Finisher medallions will be handed out to ALL finishers as they cross the finish line.

Three aid stations will be on course. Final drink station will serve water and isotonic drinks. First Aid will be provided by St Johns Ambulance and Ramsay Health Care ED team.

Links to the timekeepers results will be posted online for competitors following the race.

Marathon-Photos (official event photographer) will offer participants the opportunity to download for FREE a Race Finisher’s Certificate in A4 size, complete with name and time details.

Marathon-Photos.com will allow participants to view their images on this website, however if competitors wish to purchase photos, they are taken to the Marathon-Photos.com website.

Local businesses, running groups and suppliers wishing to showcase at the event or hold marquee areas are required to contact Event Managers prior to the event
